An exciting journey that takes in the well-known tourist destinations of four distinct South Asian countries is the Sightseeing Tour of India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibet. We start our journey in Agra, India, with a tour to the Taj Mahal, a World Heritage Site, of course. After that, we travel to Delhi to see Fatehpur Sikri, Etmad-Ul-Ah, the Red Fort, and Jama Masjid.
The Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan offers a plethora of sites to visit and sightseeing opportunities. We see Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha while we’re here to get a taste of the vibrant Bhutanese way of life. We also like trekking to the most well-known monastery in Bhutan, Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest), which is 3120 meters (10200 feet) above sea level.
Chitwan National Park is where we start our journey of Nepal, our next destination. Following a relaxed elephant-back safari through the subtropical rainforests of Chitwan National Park, we go to Pokhara, a stunning city with breathtaking views of the mountains and numerous immaculate lakes. In addition to touring the city’s natural wonders, we take a quick climb to Sarangkot for breathtaking views of the sunrise from the majestic Himalayas.
Lhasa, sometimes referred to as the birthplace of Tibetan civilization, will be our next stop. We visit several Buddhist temples, take a stroll in the Barkhor Bazaar, see the historic palaces of Potala and Norbulingka, and admire the Ganden Monastery’s exquisite and delicate frescoes and sculptures. We also go to the Drayer Pa cave, which includes over thirty meditation caves.
A comprehensive 16-day journey that culminates with a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites includes stops in India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibet.
